Dyson Fan Remote Control Not Working

Recheck that the fan is still assembled correctly and locked in correct position.

Install new batteries in remote and try. Attach the remote control to the top of the machine with the buttons facing down. Plug pulled out power cut etc. Mkoch if it is new did you remove the tape from the lower base body split section if not remove before turning on any more or damage to internal gear could occur.

For the remote with the hp01 i have to point it directly at the dyson text above the power button any other direction and nothing happens but for my am04 and even other fans at my friend s places i don t need to point the remote in the direction of the fan for it to work. The following areas should be checked and cleaned to maintain the machine s performance. I could point it at the wall ceiling etc and it still works. Main body clean with a dry cloth.

I don t use the sleep timer so i haven t added any dots to those two buttons. Shroud clean with a dry cloth or soft brush.
